Hello everyone, today i would like to introduce to you my sound box innogreentech. It allows to read mp3 message with random method. The playing is starting by a button or a LDR that detect the luminosity.

To make this sound box, i have used Arduino Nano and a DFplayer mini. It can read mp3 files record on a SD card. It can be connecting on a speaker of 8 ohms, and it can product 3 watts.

The dimensioning of the sound box InnoGreenTech are 50x50x20 mm, It is small to help its integration. There is a speaker in the box, but it is possible to connect a external speaker to improve the sound. Before this you need to disconnect the internal speaker. 

A terminal screw allow to connect the power, the voltage need to be between 5 an 9 volts. Also, it is possible to power it by USB connector.

When i have made the sound box, i had a problem of a big noise, I found anything on the web that works correctly.  After  a lot tests i have found a solution that release completely the problem. You will discover solution in this video that introduce the sound box of innogreentech.

Parts to make sound box

 

At heart  of this project there is a DFplayer mini. It can read mp3 and the sound quality is good if you use a good speaker. it can provide 3 watts, it is often suffisant at a lot project.

The DFplayer  can be use with different mode. It is possible to drive it with buttons or a serial interface.  Ici vous trouverez sa documentation. 

To drive DFplayer i have use this  library .  It  allows to control level, equalizer, play, pause,...

The Arduino nano allows to  lead the random play. A analog input can detect luminosity by a LDR., a another one allow to improve random functionality.

 

The DFplayer can read MP3 files easily with a serial interface. It can provide 3 watts  that  allow to use it alone.

NRF24L01   ESP8266 serial
This speaker of 1 watt and 8 ohms is integrate in the box, this little size allow to reduce the  sound box. The sound quality of this speaker is low you can improve it with a external speaker by a terminal screw.  A micro switch of 6mm is use to start playing.
Alimentation 800ma resistor 4.7K 
A LDR, measure the level of luminosity, this  allow to start the player when the light is detect.  We need a resistor of 4,7 K  for the  LDR and one of 1K at add on the TX line.
 power switch Bornier 
A power switch  allow to disconnect the object to preserve the battery. 4 terminals screw are necessary, they have a step of 3,81 mm.
